30th Annual Art Auction

When: November 7, 2026. Where: Unitarian Universalist Church 1625 Salvador Ave, Napa CA 94558 Time: 5:00-7:00 PM Fundraising for completion of Suskol House Land Project to preserve and share Native American Culture and traditions.
Guests will enjoy beautiful, unique Native American Art and delicious buffet bites. Meet the Suscol Council Board and featured artist, Barbara Clifton Zarate. Suskol House land project is a prototype for forest, water and soils management and remediation. Learn about Native American sustainable, traditions of erosion control as well as water and soil remediation.
All proceeds go to complete construction of Suskol House.

2026 Art Auction Featured Artist: Barbara Clifton Zarate, Patawomeck

Barbara Clifton Zarate is an artist, drum-maker, healing practitioner, mother, and grandmother whose work is rooted in cultural expression, healing, and connection to the Sacred. Her art spans paintings, murals, papier-mâché, artesanía, and hand-crafted drums, drawing upon traditional teachings, nature, community, and the interconnectedness of all living things. For decades, Barbara has used art as a pathway for storytelling, cultural connection, and collective healing. Her work has included community murals, Día de los Muertos installations, Spirit Art painting, healing and drum circles, and creative experiences for children and families.
A member of the White Buffalo Woman Council Drum, she brings together art, spirituality, and community service in her work.
At the heart of Barbara’s practice is a commitment to honoring the Sacred, strengthening our relationships with one another and Mother Earth, and carrying forward healing, beauty, and responsibility for future generations.
