Suscol Interibal Council’s mission is to develop and maintain a Native American “Suskol House” in Chiles-Pope Valley, located in the northeastern corner of Napa County, California. The land project will be a sustainable, environmentally-friendly, open space whose living sculpture building will serve as a prototype incubator project to preserve and protect Native American sacred sites and traditions. Suscol Council is committed to promoting cultural exchange and supporting communication between indigenous peoples and the broader community. We are dedicated to preserving human rights for indigenous people and linking with other NGOs around the world.
Suscol Intertribal Council is a community-based organization founded in 1972, reactivated in 1992, that works to create healing between indigneous popuations and current residents of this region. Suscol Intertribal Council also strives to create land-based projects to preserve Native American culture and human rights.
